The #twemes are flowing again. There are still some problems that we are working on.
We are currently having problems getting data from Twitter and are working on fixing the problem.

Twemes Flowing Again

Thanks to access to a new data stream from Twitter, Twemes is once again able to catch most tagged tweets.  Twitter cannot guarantee 100% access to tweets but it should be fairly close.

Down But Not Out

As many of your have already noticed, Twemes.com has not been able find all tagged tweets over the last few days.  This is due to Twitter’s decisions to shutdown and/or limit access to a number of their APIs.  Whether by design or by accident, Twemes.com now only has limited access to Twitter.  We have made appeals to Twitter staff to help us continue to keep Twemes.com in operation but those requests have had no impact on our access to the Twitter API.

We are hoping that Twitter may yet re-enable our access to their API but for the foreseeable future, Twemes.com will only be able to access a small percentage of the tagged tweets.

We are working on ways to reincarnate Twemes.com so don’t count us out yet!

The Twitter API is partially back but we are only getting a small part of the data that we need.
The Twitter API that we use for Twemes.com broke last night. No new tweets will show up at Twemes.com until Twitter fixes this.

#Twemes now has hashtag aggregation. Follow multiple tags via “live update”, RSS or widget. http://tinyurl.com/4orl6a

Tweme Aggregation

Twemes.com now allows you to follow multiple tags at the same time.  If you put multiple tags into the search box, page will be created that will aggregate those tags.  This will work for RSS feeds as well as the Tweme widget.  This is great for events where you know that different people will use various tags for the event.
